VertooERP is a modular ERP platform for small and medium-sized enterprises. It brings together more than 20 modules — including inventory management, warehouse management, accounting, time tracking, tasks, CRM and an AI assistant — in a single application. VertooERP is sold as a licence and hosted by the customer themselves (self-hosting / on-premises). The platform is developed by tap & type UG in Luckenwalde, Brandenburg.

VertooERP comprises more than 20 modules across five areas: Commerce & Trade (inventory management, warehouse management, dropshipping, e-commerce/price check, web shop, shop connections, loyalty points), Finance (accounting, cost management, HR/personnel), Team & Collaboration (tasks & projects, messages, customer communication, inbox, calendar, files, notes, knowledge base, time tracking, operating resources, fleet), CRM & Analytics (CRM, reporting, AI assistant) and Platform (webhooks, compliance/GDPR). Each module can be activated individually.

VertooERP is billed monthly across three tiers (plus VAT): Starter from €350 (up to 3 modules, 3 seats included), Business from €800 (up to 12 modules, 10 seats) and Enterprise from €1,400 (all 20+ modules, 20 seats). Additional seats can be added on to each tier. The minimum term is 12 months; hosting, setup, maintenance and support can be booked separately.

VertooERP is self-hosted (self-hosting / on-premises). Customers run the software on their own or rented infrastructure and retain full control over their data. There is no forced cloud dependency — personal data does not leave the customer's infrastructure.

Yes. VertooERP is designed for GDPR compliance and provides GoBD-compliant (German tax-compliance principles), tamper-proof audit trails for invoices and financial data, a DATEV export as well as XRechnung/ZUGFeRD. Thanks to the self-hosting model, personal data remains entirely with the customer, who is the data controller under data protection law.

VertooERP is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises from around 3 to 5 employees upwards. Typical sectors are trade & e-commerce, service providers & agencies, manufacturing & logistics as well as trades & construction. Thanks to its modular design, the platform can be adapted to the specific requirements at hand.

The key difference is the self-hosting model. Whereas most ERP providers deliver their software as SaaS from the cloud, VertooERP is sold as a licence and operated by the customer themselves. This means full data sovereignty, no permanent dependence on a provider's cloud, and predictable licensing costs instead of usage-based cloud fees.

Yes. VertooERP can be used alongside an already leading system such as JTL-Wawi, SAP or DATEV — for example with only individual modules. For this complementary use, tap & type UG grants reduced terms.

The licence is active immediately. Existing data such as products, customers and suppliers is usually imported via CSV or Excel. A productive rollout with master data, interfaces and training typically takes two to eight weeks, depending on scope. The modular design allows a gradual start with the most important modules instead of switching everything over at once.

VertooERP grows with you modularly: you activate additional modules and seats as needed, without changing systems. Multi-site and multi-tenant capabilities are included in all plans, so multiple locations or subsidiaries can also be mapped.

Yes. In a personal demo we show the platform based on your specific use case — from inventory management through to accounting. For a deeper impression, a pilot operation covering a particular area or location can be arranged.

Yes – with one difference to classic all-inclusive suites: with more than 20 modules from inventory management and accounting to time tracking and CRM, VertooERP covers an SME's core processes in a single platform instead of wiring up ten separate tools. But you only activate and pay for what you actually use. The platform is built in Germany for the European market – GDPR- and GoBD-compliant, operated via self-hosting on your own infrastructure.

Through its architecture: VertooERP runs self-hosted on your own or rented infrastructure – your business data and core processes do not depend on a third-party cloud. The AI assistant works as a local language model via Ollama, so even AI features send no data outside. Established export formats such as DATEV, XRechnung/ZUGFeRD and CSV reduce dependencies. Responsibility for operations and backups sits with you or your service provider – the deliberate price of full control.
